Introducing Tyro – Our New Student Management System

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We're delighted to let you know that we're moving to a new student management system called Tyro, which will go live tomorrow. Tyro will replace Vsware, our current student management system. Tyro will give you a single, easy-to-use place to keep up with your child's school life – attendance, communications, important updates and more, all in one secure account. At first you will not see much but as we test the system to make sure it is working properly you will see more an more facilities coming available to you.

What you need to do

On Friday 15th of May, you'll receive an email containing your personal sign-up link for Tyro. Please complete sign-up as soon as the email arrives in your inbox so that you have full access from launch day. The process only takes a few minutes, and once you're set up you'll be ready to go the moment the system goes live. The link will allow you to download the Tyro app and you will be able to access the link on PC or laptop through a link on our website as you can currently do with VSware. From Friday access to VSware will cease as the whole school moves over to Tyro.

Pleae note, all school communications will be through Tyro so you must gain access to it as soon as it comes on stream.

We need your email address

We don't currently hold an up-to-date email address for every parent and guardian, and we need one for each family before Tyro launches. Without it, you won't receive your sign-up link.

We need all responses returned ASAP so that we have time to load every email address into Tyro ahead of tomorrow's launch. It only takes a moment – please don't leave it until the last minute.

Coming in September – online payments

From September, Tyro will gain additional functionality, including online payments. This means you'll be able to pay for school items, trips and activities directly through Tyro, all from the same account you're already using.

Importantly, we will no longer be using Way2Pay from that point onwards. All payments previously made through Way2Pay will move across to Tyro, so there's nothing extra for you to set up – everything will be handled in one place through your Tyro account.
