Following on from the successful beginning of our French Exchange Programme last year, on November 6th next (2023), Bridgetown College’s French department plan to send a group of 10 students from our 5th Year French class to Dunkirk in northern France. They will each stay with a French family for one week. There is a busy itinerary with time spent in the hosts’ school Lycée Jean Bart along with trips to the local dunes, looking at in particular coastal erosion, the Port Museum, the city of Bruges and even some ice-skating! A return trip will be made to Bridgetown from our friends in Dunkirk from 10th to 17th of March 2024.
