DigiSet

DigiSET (Digitally Sustainable European Teacher Academy) is an Erasmus+ Teacher Academies project that brings together education partners from across Europe to strengthen teachers' digital, personal, and sustainability competences. The project responds to the growing need for educators to develop the skills required for a rapidly changing digital world, supporting the objectives of the European Digital Education Action Plan and the Digital Compass 2030. Through training, collaboration, and the development of innovative teaching resources, DigiSET aims to create a new generation of "Digitally Sustainable European Teachers" capable of integrating emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Open Educational Resources (OERs), and digital learning tools into inclusive and sustainable educational practice.

As a project partner, Bridgetown College is contributing to the development and implementation of this ambitious European initiative. Through participation in research, professional development activities, and the wider Community of Practice, the school is helping to shape innovative approaches to teaching and learning while supporting the upskilling of educators across Europe. Bridgetown College's involvement reflects its commitment to digital innovation, sustainability, and providing high-quality learning opportunities that prepare both teachers and students for the future.
