On the 29/11/2018 Jordan Broaders, a past pupil of Bridgetown College, came in to talk to LC2 students about his college career.
Jordan, a keen athlete / sportsman, began his career studying in Waterford Institute of Technology where he studied and graduated with an honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science.
Jordan always wanted to become a teacher and never gave up on his dream. Jordan’s presentation to the students focused on the skills and qualities need in both professions and he explained to the students that with hard work, focus and determination you can achieve your goals.
“There is always a route into what you wish to study, even if you do it later on in your life” he stated.
Jordan was delighted to say to the LC2 students that he is now a qualified primary teacher and he is currently employed in a local primary school.
